About:

Shannon Parker Taing is an LA-Based audiobook narrator who loves to bring her classical and comedy training to narration performance.  She is drawn to fantasy, romance (all genres), historical fiction, black cat FMCs, plucky kitchen witches and Rom-Coms with characters who are just trying to make the most out of a tricky situation.  

She loves to work with production houses and also to collaborate with indie authors to bring their book babies to audio.

After obtaining an MFA in Acting from ACT in San Fransisco, she studied improv/sketch at UCBNY for 8 years and was on a house sketch team there. 

Her performance background blends classical training with a strong foundation in comedy, character work, and storytelling. Shannon brings a dynamic, character-driven voice with a keen sensitivity to tone and perspective and and a particular aptitude for accents.

When not in the booth, she can be found trying to convince her book club to read monster romance, watching old TCM movies or chasing down the perfect cup of tea.
